Clear information on how Pinout & Plate earns revenue and how referral links function.
Affiliate Earnings at No Extra Cost
Pinout & Plate contains affiliate links to marketplace platforms, primarily AliExpress and affiliated component vendors. When you click these links and purchase keyboard parts, tools, or kits, we may earn a small referral commission.
This commission comes at zero additional cost to you. The price you pay on the seller's storefront remains identical whether you use our link or navigate there independently.
How Affiliate Links Are Used
- Spec Audits Come First
- Our component assessments are driven by physical compatibility checks—such as verifying switch pin count or socket clearance. An affiliate partnership never dictates whether a component is recommended or flagged for potential fitment issues.
- No Paid Placement or Sponsored Reviews
- We do not accept paid placements to endorse specific storefronts, nor do we present affiliate links as technical certifications of build quality.
- Direct Marketplace Navigation
- Affiliate links direct readers directly to seller pages so you can independently verify current stock, production revision batches, and customer reviews before ordering.
